Sharing dashboards securely with one link

Jan 10, 20254 min readSharingSecurity

One link, clear controls. Decide who sees the dashboard, whether the chatbot is enabled, and track engagement without exposing source files.

1) Public vs private modes

Public links are great for demos; private links keep dashboards internal. Add passcodes if needed.

2) Chatbot toggles

Turn the chatbot on or off per link. If it’s off, viewers see static charts only.

3) Engagement analytics

Track viewers, time on page, and chat volume to see what resonates.

Quick tips

  • Use private links for internal reviews; switch to public for launches.
  • Disable chatbot on sensitive datasets if you only want static readouts.
  • Rotate links or add passcodes when sharing with new teams.
